Simon Scott is a highly skilled photographer, cinematographer ,and creative director known for his innovative work in visual storytelling. A native of Hooksett, New Hampshire, Simon’s passion for videography began in high school, where he started by filming local sports events and capturing the adrenaline-filled moments of his friends at the motocross track. What began as a hobby soon evolved into a larger creative endeavor, as his engaging content started gaining significant traction on social media, particularly Instagram, where he amassed hundreds of thousands of views.
As Simon's audience grew, so did the scope of his work. His talents soon attracted the attention of professional athletes, leading him to film elite motocross racers, wakeboarders, and other sports figures. Simon's ability to craft captivating narratives and visually dynamic content through documentaries, short films, and social media posts has set him apart in the world of sports videography.
Simon is now the Director of Brick & Barn | Studios, where he leads the company's in-house content production division. In this role, he oversees the creation of all video and photographic content produced by Brick & Barn. With a strong background in both creative direction and cinematography, Simon is key to shaping the studio’s projects, driving innovation, and delivering engaging content across a wide range of platforms for both the company and its clients.
Scott has enjoyed a successful 33-year career as a sales and marketing executive in media, software, and real estate.
For five years, he was a Sales Manager for Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York selling and marketing Paramount’s syndicated library of television shows to local affiliates. Scott was on a team that marketed the largest library of television programs in the U.S. in key regions. This included shows like Entertainment Tonight, Judge Judy, Frasier, Cheers, Happy Days, Taxi, and the entire Star Trek franchise. He also represented Paramount’s vast library of motion pictures.
After Paramount, he joined the NBC Television Network in New York as one of the first sales executives in their newly formed “Interactive” group, helping to monetize NBC’s Internet properties. He created and sold some of the first national cross-platform advertising campaigns to companies like Sears, Eddie Bauer, and Intel. Working with show producers, he helped develop some of the first Internet product placements in online entertainment content across the NBC platform.
Scott's vision that real estate marketing should be infused with the highest quality content prompted him to create Brick & Barn | Studios and serves as its Executive Producer overseeing operations and content production.
Anna is an editorial, lifestyle, and travel photographer based in Portsmouth, NH. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in photojournalism and has since produced work for a variety of national publications and non-profits. Anna started her career covering news and current events in the New York area before moving to a tiny island town on the New Hampshire seacoast, where she currently works with several New England publications and brands while also regularly traveling for personal and assigned stories. Anna loves to meet new people and explore new places and has traveled for freelance assignments worldwide. She has been working with Brick & Barn for the past three years, photographing agents, clients' properties, and various aspects of the Group's lifestyle both at work and at home.
